Nigel is our senior partner and recently celebrated his 25th year as a partner of the firm. Over the years Nigel has developed a broad portfolio of long-standing clients, which range from large company groups to professional practices and sole traders.

His strategy is to become personally involved with clients’ businesses, to act effectively as a business partner in helping clients achieve their business vision.

Nigel also heads the Tax Team and is our resident tax specialist - he enjoys finding ways to save clients’ money through mitigation of tax liabilities.

Outside work:

A keen sportsman in his younger days Nigel now takes pleasure in being a spectator, his favourite sports include football, rugby and cricket. Nigel is actively involved in local business associations and enjoys networking.

Lee Elsworth FCCA

In general practice since 1983 and a partner since 2001, Lee has a wealth of accounting and taxation knowledge particularly for owner managed businesses in the SME sector. His experience in dealing with property development companies and the associated complex VAT legislation has led him to attain a widespread knowledge of this sector.

With expertise in pension scheme audit and accounts, Lee is part of the specialist team that deals with over thirty schemes; some of which feature in the Top UK Pension Schemes.

Business coaching also features heavily in Lee’s consulting role - this includes presenting seminars on business development topics, briefing clients on profit improvement techniques and helping improve clients work/life balance.

Outside work:

Lee is a family man and enjoys spending time with his two children. He is also a keen golfer and he has won a number of trophies at recent client events.

Paula joined Tiffin Green in 1991, qualified in 1994 and became a partner in 2008 - the firm is delighted at her rise to partner status.

Her extensive experience covers most business types, she has a special interest in advising family-owned businesses and dealing with tax implications for high net-worth individuals and trusts.

Paula’s primary aim is to get to know her clients well and to gain an understanding of exactly what each client wishes for, from their business. She suggests the strategies to help them achieve their vision and offers support and advice along the way.

Outside work:

Married with two children Paula enjoys theatre trips and socialising with friends and family. She plays competitive hockey most weekends and enjoys being part of the team.

Robin Brown FCCA

Robin became a partner in January 2008 after working in a managerial position for Tiffin Green since 2002; he brings over twenty years provincial and city-based experience to the firm.

Starting out in general practice Robin has specialised in the requirements of owner-managed businesses for many years. He particularly enjoys guiding and supporting business start-ups and assisting growing businesses with advice on incorporation and effective record keeping.

Specialising in pension scheme audit and accounts, Robin deals with the audits of at least 3 of the Top UK Pension Schemes.

Outside work:

Robin is a family man with two daughters; his interests include gardening, classic cars and motor sport. A keen sportsman Robin particularly enjoys tennis, running and cycling – he often puts his sporting skills to the test by volunteering for charity fundraising events.

Lisa completed her training with Tiffin Green and qualified with the ACCA in 2004, the practice was delighted to welcome Lisa as a partner from January 2008.

Dealing with a wide portfolio, from sole traders to limited companies, Lisa’s friendly personality enables her to naturally build a good rapport with clients. She enjoys becoming part of the business and readily gives pertinent advice on compliance and business growth issues. Additionally Lisa has in-depth experience with proprietary accounting software packages and provides advice, training and support to businesses throughout Essex.

Specialising in the complexities of pension scheme accounts and audit, Lisa also heads the team that deal with over thirty pension schemes.

Outside work:

Lisa loves spending time with her young sons, who keeps her busy. In her precious spare time she enjoys reading, swimming and jogging.
